Sharni Vison, an Australian-American dancer and actress was born 22 July 1983, in Sydney Australia. In 2001, Sharni Vinson was selected to appear in two episodes of the Australian Soap Opera Home and Away. The small part she played the acting of her was so good that the casting director wanted to have her play every role. While she tried for the role, she was not selected. Instead, she was cast in the series as Cassie Turner, a struggling girl living with foster parents. Fans and critics were awed by the performance.
